Please keep us in your thoughts and Prayers

February 9th, 2008

It’s Saturday morning and I am laying in bed, at the hospital. I have been here since Thursday morning, and I feel terrible. Luckily our baby is doing well, I am having a bit more pre-term labor, and looks like I have kidney stones when is pretty agonizing. I go between being in massive pain, and doped out of my mind. Luckily there are pain medications that are safe during pregnancy, but I still hate the thought of drugging my unborn child. I will spare you all the gory details, we just ask that you would all say a little prayer for a quick recovery, with no permanent damage.

On a happier note I had an ultrasound yesterday and the Doctor was able to take them most beautiful face picture of our unborn daughter, she is GORGEOUS! I will post the photo’s after I recover. She has my lips, but otherwise I think she looks like Brandon. You can even see her eyelashes in the photo, I can’t believe how beautiful she is,it brings tears to my eyes when I look at the pictures. Makes all the nausea, fatigue, heartburn and everything else so much more bearable knowing that I will get to meet her soon ( just hopefully not too soon)

so sorry you are going thru this! you really have been thru the ringer! i know it’s not fun! w/ my csection i had kidney stones, mono, and a wound infection….it sucks! i don’t know what would be worse though, worrying about your unborn baby like you or having a new born you can’t take care of because you are so sick! either way, it sucks. we will pray that little girl stays in there and is healthy!

Wow Leah, I knew you were sick, I didn’t know you had kidney stones too! That is the worst thing I have ever been through for sure! Luckily looks like it’s all over, I got to come home this afternoon and I am just taking it easy the rest of the week. I appreciate your thoughts and prayers, I am SOOOOOO glad to be doing better, and being home. I haven’t had pain meds in like 18 hours!!! and I was living on them in the hospital.

yes! i know! no fun at all! no wonder why i am terrified of going thru it again! granted, having another C doesn’t mean i will go thru all that again, but it’s still a fear. anyways, i am glad you are home and feeling better! only a few short weeks till we see our baby girls!!!

Yeah, only a few more weeks! It’s coming so soon. We can’t Wait, Aiden is getting excited, he climbs into my lap and pulls up my shirt all the time and says baby in there and Baby come out! He acts really excited now, but we’ll see how he does when she arrives I guess.
